Early in the movie when Jane and Ray are shopping for a condo, they fall in love with a high rise and the real estate agent says, "You can see right down to the World Trade Center" as Jane and Ray go out on the balcony with the Twin Towers prominently visible behind them. The DVD for this movie was released September 18, 2001, exactly one week after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which gives it the distinction of being the first DVD released after 9/11 to be instantly outdated by the tragedy.

Ashley Judd (née Ashley Tyler Ciminella) est une actrice américaine née le 19 avril 1968 à Granada Hills, Californie, diplômée en français,de l'université du Kentucky.
Biographie
Diplômée en français à l'Université du Kentucky, Ashley Judd étudie pendant plusieurs années l'art dramatique. Elle débute sur les planches dans une version de Busted, montée par Naked Angels et mise en scène par Timothy Hutton, et décroche son premier rôle à la télévision dans la série Sisters.
Elle fait également sa première apparition au cinéma aux côtés de Christian Slater dans Kuffs (1992) de Bruce A. Evans.Révélée au grand public dans le rôle-titre de Ruby in Paradise de Victor Nunez, qui obtient le Grand Prix du Festival de Sundance 1993, Ashley Judd incarne Felicity, la fille d'Harvey Keitel dans Smoke (1995) de Wayne Wang.

Devenant une valeur montante d'Hollywood, elle a pour partenaires Robert De Niro (Heat, 1995) et Matthew McConaughey (Le Droit de tuer? 1996), qui seront également ses amants dans la vie.En 1997, Ashley Judd partage avec Morgan Freeman l'affiche du Collectionneur de Gary Fleder. Dès lors, elle s'impose dans des rôles physiques et se familiarise davantage avec le registre du thriller.
Elle enchaîne Le Voyeur (1999) de Stephan Elliott avec Ewan McGregor et va remplacer Jodie Foster dans le rôle de Libby Parsons pour les besoins de(Fffff!) dans Double jeu (1999) de Bruce Beresford.Elle tourne à nouveau avec Morgan Freeman dans Crimes et pouvoir (2002) de Carl Franklin, un film à suspense dans lequel elle incarne un procureur ayant de sérieux doutes sur le passé de son mari, avant de se perdre dans les dédales tortueux de Instincts meurtriers (2003).

Ashley Judd déploie également ses charmes dans la comédie romantique. Soutenant une jeune mère en la personne de Natalie Portman dans Où le coeur nous mène (2000), elle élabore une théorie sur le machisme dans Attraction animale (2001) de Tony Goldwyn.Trois ans plus tard, elle pousse la chansonnette aux côtés de Kevin Kline dans De-lovely (2004), une comédie musicale d'Irwin Winkler retraçant la vie du compositeur Cole Porter. Se faisant plus discrète sur les écrans, c'est sous la direction de William Friedkin qu'elle revient sur le devant de la scène cinématographique avec Bug, un huis clos remarqué au Festival de Cannes 2006.
