I found this movie to not only be inspiring, but to also give us a good perspective of how people will do anything with hope, and when that hope disappears they will totally lose any hope,(voui...curieux hein ?) and that shines out, both when they agree they will build it, and you really see how they have a new energy, and when they find out he is a model airplane builder,when they lose hope, and you see them actually lose all there energy.

I found most of the acting excellent but some effects were little unbelievable. for instance the wing smashing the chef and him living through that, I still don't get what was supposed to happen there. Over all i think this was a great movie, but since i did not watch the original, I don't know if they met the standards of the original or not.
